What You'll Do
As an Escrow Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting our Branch Manager/Escrow Officer to create a seamless experience for our clients, agents, and lenders.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist escrow officer with opening, processing, and closing escrow transactions with the ability to manage all aspects of desk when Escrow Officer is away
- Prepare, review, and organize escrow documents and files.
- Communicate with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and other parties throughout the transaction.
- Order payoffs, demands, HOA documents, title reports, and other required items.
- Ensure files are complete, accurate, and compliant with company procedures and industry regulations.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and client inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
- Maintain organized digital files and update transaction information promptly.
- Provide outstanding customer service while helping keep transactions on schedule.
What We're Looking For
- Previous escrow assistant experience of at least 2+ years required.
- Knowledge of the California escrow process from opening through closing.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple transactions while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Experience with Streamline or other escrow software is a plus.
- A commitment to providing exceptional service and building lasting client relationships.
