Full Job Description

Hiring a Community Outreach Specialist in San Marcos

Responsibilities:

Brand Representation: Represent our brand in a positive and professional manner at all times, embodying our core values and maintaining the highest ethical standards
Community Outreach: Act as the primary liaison between our branches and their respective communities, fostering strong relationships, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for engagement and collaboration
Local Events: Organize and participate in local events, community outreach programs, and sponsorships to promote our brand and establish a visible presence in the community
Feedback and Reporting: Collect feedback and insights from local customers and provide regular reports on local market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and public relations teams to align local strategies with broader brand objective

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
Managed, and contributed toward a professional/brand “voice”
Proven experience in social media content creation and community outreach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong local knowledge and understanding of the community
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency with social media platforms, analytics tools, and content creation software

The starting rate for this opportunity ranges from $20-$23/hr. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO). A candidate’s salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. Please note that the compensation information is a good faith estimate for this position. It assumes a rate based on location and experience.

Physical Demands:

Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time.
May be required to bend, climb (Stairs/Ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run
May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time
Must be able to maneuver up to 25 lb. by lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling.
May be required to work in outdoor weather conditions.
Must have the ability to maneuver in and out of ditches, dig ditches, and assist with other physical operations associated with installing/repairing/and or maintaining in-ground septic systems and lines.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
