Are you an experienced veterinary leader who thrives on building strong teams, creating operational excellence, and partnering with ownership to drive success?

We are seeking a Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a well-established, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in the Phoenix area. This is an opportunity to join a highly respected practice with a tenured team, a strong reputation in the community, and ownership that is deeply invested in the long-term success of the hospital, its employees, and its patients.

We are a privately owned, multi-doctor small animal hospital dedicated to providing exceptional medical care and outstanding client service. Our team is passionate about creating a positive experience for patients, clients, and employees alike. We believe that strong leadership, clear communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to long-term success.

What You'll Do

Leadership & Team Development

Lead, coach, and support a team of veterinary professionals
Foster employee engagement, accountability, and professional growth
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and retention initiatives
Conduct performance coaching and support team development
Partner with ownership to maintain a positive, collaborative culture

Hospital Operations

Oversee daily hospital workflow and operational efficiency
Manage staffing schedules and resource allocation
Ensure exceptional client service standards are consistently maintained
Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence
Support implementation of hospital initiatives and strategic goals

Financial & Business Management

Monitor key performance indicators and hospital performance metrics
Assist with budgeting, expense management, and operational planning
Partner with ownership on strategic initiatives and growth opportunities
Support inventory management, purchasing, and vendor relationships
Help drive profitability while maintaining high standards of patient care and client service

Client Experience

Champion a culture of exceptional customer service
Address and resolve client concerns professionally and effectively
Ensure clients feel welcomed, informed, and valued throughout their experience

What We're Looking For

3+ years of veterinary practice management experience preferred
Strong leadership and team development skills
Experience managing staffing, scheduling, and employee performance
Excellent communication, conflict-resolution, and coaching abilities
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Financial acumen and experience working with practice metrics preferred
Ability to collaborate effectively with both hospital leadership and ownership
A positive, solutions-oriented mindset and a desire to help teams succeed
