Marketech International Corporation USA (MICU) is seeking a detail-oriented BIM Modeler / Designer to support large-scale semiconductor construction projects in Phoenix, Arizona.
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate 3D BIM models, coordinating model updates with engineering and construction teams, supporting clash detection, and producing construction-ready drawings and documentation. The BIM Modeler / Designer will work closely with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to ensure models are coordinated, constructible, current, and aligned with project requirements.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience using Revit and BIM coordination tools in a construction, industrial, commercial, manufacturing, cleanroom, or semiconductor environment. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys translating design information into clear, coordinated models and helping resolve constructability issues before work reaches the field.
- Develop, update, and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for construction, facility, and semiconductor projects.
- Create model-based drawings, layouts, plans, elevations, sections, details, shop drawings, installation drawings, and other construction documentation as required.
- Review drawings, specifications, design criteria, and technical information to ensure model accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Incorporate design revisions, field changes, redlines, RFIs, coordination comments, and approved updates into BIM models and drawings.
- Produce coordinated dimensions, layouts, and model extracts to support installation planning and field execution.
- Assist with as-built model updates, final drawing revisions, and project closeout documentation.
- Follow established BIM standards, naming conventions, file-management practices, quality-control procedures, and project-specific requirements.
- Perform clash detection and assist with identifying, documenting, tracking, and resolving model conflicts.
- Coordinate model updates across multiple trades and disciplines, including mechanical, plumbing, process, electrical, structural, architectural, civil, and fire protection teams.
- Review models for constructability concerns, clearance issues, installation conflicts, routing challenges, and sequencing considerations.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and clearly communicate model issues, design revisions, open items, and required actions.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to support timely resolution of model conflicts.
- Maintain coordination logs, clash reports, issue trackers, and related documentation as required.
- Support construction planning by providing coordinated layouts, installation details, and current model information to field teams.
- Maintain organized BIM files, drawing revisions, model versions, documentation, and project records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support engineering and construction teams with model reviews, drawing updates, technical documentation, and coordination materials.
- Assist with document-control activities, including drawing distribution, revision tracking, file organization, and project documentation updates.
- Provide timely progress updates on assigned modeling tasks, deliverables, open coordination items, and project deadlines.
- Support continuous improvement of BIM workflows, model quality, coordination practices, and documentation processes.
- Collaborate professionally with engineering, construction, subcontractor, vendor, and field teams in a fast-paced project environment.
- Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, technical certification, or equivalent work experience in BIM, drafting, design, construction technology, engineering technology, architecture, or a related field.
- Two or more years of experience in BIM modeling, Revit design, construction drafting, CAD design, or related project coordination work.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks, or similar clash-detection and BIM coordination software.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications, shop drawings, and technical documents.
- Understanding of construction sequencing, model coordination, constructability, and field-installation considerations.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, document-control, and revision-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple model updates, deadlines, priorities, and coordination comments in a fast-paced project environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with engineering, construction, subcontractor, vendor, and field teams.
- Ability to work onsite in Phoenix, Arizona.
- Experience supporting industrial, semiconductor, manufacturing, cleanroom, data center, commercial, or large-scale construction projects.
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Bluebeam, Revizto, or other construction coordination platforms.
- Familiarity with clash-detection workflows, coordination logs, model-review meetings, and construction document-management processes.
- Experience coordinating models across mechanical, plumbing, process, structural, architectural, civil, electrical, fire protection, or other construction disciplines.
- Experience supporting field coordination, installation drawings, prefabrication planning, or as-built documentation.
- Knowledge of construction safety requirements, jobsite coordination practices, and installation sequencing.
- Experience working with cleanroom, high-tech manufacturing, semiconductor, or mission-critical facility projects.
- Bilingual English/Mandarin Chinese communication skills are a plus, but not required.

This role is primarily onsite and may involve a combination of office-based BIM modeling, coordination meetings, and active project-site support. The BIM Modeler / Designer may work closely with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, vendors, client representatives, and field personnel supporting semiconductor and industrial construction projects.
