About the Role
We are seeking a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of marketing initiatives across Directed IRA and Mat Sorensen's personal brand.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both creative and operational marketing. While social media will be a significant part of the position, the Marketing Coordinator will also assist with email marketing, website updates, content publishing, campaign execution, webinars, events, and general marketing project coordination.
You will work closely with the VP of Marketing, leadership team, video editors, designers, and outside partners to help ensure marketing projects are completed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Marketing
- Manage and schedule content across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and other platforms.
- Repurpose webinars, podcasts, videos, articles, and educational content into social media assets.
- Draft captions, headlines, post copy, and content descriptions aligned with brand voice.
- Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments and messages as appropriate.
- Track performance metrics and assist with social media reporting.
Marketing Operations & Campaign Support
- Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns, product launches, webinars, events, and promotions.
- Coordinate marketing projects across internal team members and external vendors.
- Help maintain project timelines and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Support partnership and affiliate marketing initiatives as needed.
Website & Email Marketing
- Publish and update website content using WordPress.
- Assist with landing page creation and content updates.
- Support email marketing initiatives through HubSpot, including email creation, scheduling, segmentation, and reporting.
- Help maintain marketing assets, forms, workflows, and contact databases.
Content & Administrative Support
- Assist with blog publishing, content formatting, and basic SEO implementation.
- Coordinate marketing materials, presentations, handouts, and event collateral.
- Maintain marketing calendars and content schedules.
- Support general marketing initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, social media, content marketing, or a related role.
- Strong written communication and copywriting skills.
- Experience managing social media platforms for a company, brand, or organization.
- Familiarity with WordPress and website content management systems.
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM and email marketing platforms.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services, investing, education, or professional services.
- Familiarity with self-directed IRAs, retirement accounts, or alternative investments.
- Basic graphic design experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Experience with webinar platforms, event coordination, or podcast promotion.
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
- Video editing experience on Capcut, Final Cut Pro, etc.

Marketing campaigns, webinars, and launches are executed smoothly and on schedule.
Website and email marketing assets are updated accurately and efficiently.
