Full Job Description

Texell, named one of the BEST credit unions to work for in the NATION by American Banker, is seeking an Experienced Mortgage Loan Officer!

What You’ll Actually Do

Originate residential purchase and refinance loans (no surprises there.)
Build and maintain strong relationships with realtors, builders, doctors, CPA’s, Wealth Advisors/Financial Planners…coffee shop baristas, golf cart bar servers; or any other referral partners who can introduce you to potential leads.
Educate and guide borrowers with confidence, clarity, and a calm demeanor (even when the appraisal doesn’t cooperate.)
Manage your pipeline like the professional you are – with a team that helps, not hinders.
Hit production goals that make sense and get rewarded for them.

What We’re Looking For

2 years of mortgage origination experience (purchase -heavy preferred.)
Proven Ability to self-source and close loans
Strong knowledge of Jumbo market, relationships in the medical community, as well as conventional, FHA, & VA loan programs.
If you have: connections in luxury real estate and are familiar with Jumbo loans, or relationships in the medical community, you could do really well!
Professional reputation you’re proud of.
Someone who believes that caring about clients will earn you a good living.
