Full Job Description

Your future role at a glance:

Location: Temple, Texas

Facility: King's Daughter Clinic Temple

Department/Specialty: Pediatrics

Schedule: PRN | Days 8 hour shift

How you'll make an impact in this role:

Deliver high-quality clinical care under the guidance of a registered nurse or physician, ensuring all treatments align perfectly with your scope of practice and safety standards.
Contribute to patient health assessments by actively observing well-being and identifying critical changes to help the care team make informed, timely medical decisions.
Administer medications safely and monitor patients closely for adverse reactions, prioritizing patient comfort and swift intervention when needed.
Perform essential diagnostic tests and therapeutic services to provide the accurate data required for effective treatment planning.
Empower patients and their families through dedicated education on holistic health, discharge self-care, and community resources to ensure a smooth, confident transition home.

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional requirements you'll need:

2 years of LVN experience
Pediatric experience
