Role Overview
We are looking for a versatile, technically strong creative professional to own visual production, product photography, and e-commerce content operations in-house. This is not a general-purpose design job. You will be the creative engine behind a multi-channel military retail brand — responsible for producing everything from product images and promotional graphics to channel-specific content across all channels.
Core Responsibilities
Graphic Design & Brand Creative
- Design all promotional, campaign, and seasonal graphics for usamm.com, Amazon storefronts, TikTok Shop, and social media
- Create banners, email headers, digital ads, product callout graphics, and branded templates that meet military community aesthetic standards
- Maintain visual consistency across USAMM and all alternate sales channel brand identities
- Build and maintain a library of reusable design assets, brand guides, and templates
- Support apparel and merchandise design
Product Photography
- Execute in-house product photography for all new SKUs across all catalogs
- Shoot, edit, and deliver lifestyle and studio images optimized for web PDPs, Amazon listings, and social content
- Manage photo setup and maintain consistent lighting, staging, and brand standards
- Batch-process and deliver properly formatted image assets across all channel specifications (Amazon, TikTok Shop, web)
E-Commerce Content & Platform Operations
- Upload and manage product listings, images, and content across Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, and TikTok Seller Center
- Audit and refresh existing product pages for visual quality, keyword alignment, and conversion optimization
- Support A/B testing of creative assets and product imagery in coordination with leadership
- Assist in building and maintaining all e-commerce storefronts, product catalogs, and creative assets for GMV Max campaigns and LIVE shopping events
- Support Spark Ads creative production — short-form video clips, static graphics, and overlay text assets
- Coordinate channel asset specs and upload cadences with the dev and operations teams
Email, SMS, & Newsletter Support
- Design email creative assets (headers, banners, product blocks) in coordination with AI-assisted automation workflows
- QA email sends for visual accuracy and mobile rendering across clients
- Responsible for SMS marketing
- Support seasonal campaign content calendars and execution
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional graphic design experience with a strong, verifiable portfolio
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite — Photoshop and Illustrator are non-negotiable; InDesign and Premiere a plus
- Hands-on product photography experience — lighting, staging, editing, batch processing
- Direct experience working inside e-commerce platforms: Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, or TikTok Seller Center (at least two required)
- Strong understanding of image specs, file formats, and compression for web and marketplace channels
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects and meet hard deadlines without daily supervision
- Experience with Claude AI, ChatGPT, or similar agentic models for creating graphics, content, etc.
- Local to Killeen/Fort Hood/Temple/Waco area or willing to relocate — this is a 100% on-site role
Strongly Preferred Qualifications
- Military background, military spouse, or demonstrated deep familiarity with military culture and uniform standards
- Experience with TikTok Shop, TikTok Ads Manager, or short-form video content creation for e-commerce
- Working knowledge of AI creative tools (Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Canva AI, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with Klaviyo, Postscript, or email/SMS platform creative workflows
- Experience with product photography for Amazon listings specifically (hero image standards, infographic callouts, A+ Content)
- Experience with 3D product photography
- Basic video editing capability for Reels, TikTok clips, or short-form promotional content
- Experience working in a fast-paced, small team environment where you own your output end-to-end
