Fabrication & Installation Assistant – Grow Your Skills

Location: Salado, TX

Join a fast-growing team manufacturing innovative modular steel swimming pools. This isn't just a "helper" job—it’s a hands-on apprenticeship in modern manufacturing. We will cross-train you in metal cutting and fabrication and insulated panel fabrication. If you’re a builder who wants to see a project go from raw steel to a finished product, we want to talk to you.

The Role

You will be a "Swiss Army Knife" in our production facility. You’ll support our lead welders, master the assembly of Insulated Steel Panels, and assist with the final installation of our pool structures. This is a dynamic role where no two days are exactly the same.

What You’ll Do:

Fabrication & Cutting: Measure, cut, and prep steel. You’ll perform under the guidance of our lead pros.
SIP Manufacturing: Help build the "bones" of our pools by prepping skins, bonding cores, and operating panel presses.
Precision Installation: Work on-site to position panels, apply specialized sealants, and ensure every seam is watertight and perfectly aligned.
Shop Operations: Keep the flow moving by staging materials, using forklifts/hoists, and ensuring a safe, organized workspace.

What You Bring to the Table:

The Basics: High school diploma and a rock-solid work ethic.
Mechanical Aptitude: You know your way around a tape measure, grinders, saws, and drills.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50 lbs and stay active on your feet all day.
Growth Mindset: You have some cutting or MIG welding experience (or the strong desire to learn) and aren't afraid to jump into new tasks.
Reliability: You show up on time, every time.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in fabrication, construction or panelized systems.
Forklift operation
Entry-level welding certification (or the ability to pass a shop weld test).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
