Restaurant Manager – Timberwood Grill at The Island

Pay: Up for negotiation - (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-time
Location: In Person – Pigeon Forge, TN

About Us

Timberwood Grill, located at The Island in Pigeon Forge, is a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant known for great food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We are seeking two experienced Restaurant Managers to join our leadership team. While both positions will primarily focus on Front of House operations, one role may serve as a hybrid manager with the ability to support Back of House operations as needed.

Position Summary

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for leading daily restaurant operations, ensuring outstanding guest experiences, developing team members, and driving operational excellence. This role works closely with the General Manager to maintain service standards, achieve financial goals, and create a positive work environment for all team members.

Essential ResponsibilitiesFront of House Leadership

Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional guest service.
Coach, train, and develop front-of-house team members and supervisors.
Manage floor operations during peak business periods.
Address guest concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with company policies, service standards, and health regulations.
Monitor labor costs and staffing levels based on business demands.
Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management.

Hybrid FOH/BOH Manager Responsibilities (One Position)

Support kitchen operations as needed.
Assist with food quality standards, line execution, and kitchen staffing.
Work closely with culinary leadership to maintain efficient BOH operations.
Help manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls.
Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards are maintained.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of restaurant management experience required.
High-volume restaurant experience preferred.
Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Proven ability to build and motivate successful teams.
Experience with scheduling, labor management, and guest service recovery.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
ServSafe certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
FOH experience required; BOH experience strongly preferred for hybrid role.
