Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job description:

Pack Mule Trailers is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented wiring/decking installer to join our manufacturing team. This role focuses on wiring lights and brakes as well as cutting lumber and installing decks on new trailers while meeting our production standards.

If you have experience with electrical wiring or basic decking knowledge, learn quickly and enjoy working in a fast-paced shop environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities for Wiring and Decking

Wire trailer lights and breaks.
Cut lumber, lay and attach boards to trailer decks .
Assist with moving trailers to different staging areas..
Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
Assist with minor assembly tasks when needed.
Follow all safety guidelines and manufacturing processes.
Assist in other trailer manufacturing duties as needed

Requirements

1–2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
Automotive or trailer wiring experience a plus.
General knowledge and experience with hand tools and saws.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
Reliable attendance and positive work attitude.
FORKLIFT EXPERINCE IS A PLUS!!

Responsibilities for Chop Saw Operator

Operate chop saws and other cutting equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and stamping presses to process various materials according to specifications.
Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to determine cutting requirements.
Use precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure material dimensions meet quality standards.
Set up and adjust machinery including press brake machines, CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming, and Fanuc controls for optimal performance.
Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime, ensuring adherence to safety standards in production environments.
Handle materials safely using warehouse experience, materials handling techniques, hand tools, and tooling equipment.
Maintain accurate records of production runs, quality checks, and machine maintenance activities.

Skills

Experience with fabrication processes including welding, assembly line work, stamping press operation, and packaging.
Skilled in the use of precision measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and micrometer gauges for quality control.
Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, press brakes, and stamping presses.
Familiarity with factory safety standards and best practices for manufacturing environments.
Basic math skills necessary for measuring and calculating material dimensions accurately.
Experience working in manufacturing facilities with a focus on machining, fabrication, or assembly is highly desirable.
MUST BE ABLE TO READ A TAPE MEASURE!
