Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring production efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and leading a team of managers, supervisors and staff. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a strategic leader to contribute to the growth and success of our organization by managing operational processes, optimizing workflows, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality control, safety, and maintenance.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of supervisors and staff to meet production goals.
Monitor key performance indicators and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
Coordinate with scheduling, supply chain, remote teams, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among employees.
Manage budgets, resources, and inventory levels effectively to optimize operational costs.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
Prepare reports on operational performance for senior management and recommend strategic adjustments as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in manufacturing or plant operations management, with a strong understanding of production processes.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
Knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and quality assurance protocols.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments and with external partners.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is a plus. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant while fostering a safe and productive work environment. We seek a dedicated leader committed to operational excellence and continuous growth within our organization.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
