Join Accurate Healthcare as a trusted Legal Counsel and key advisor to our President and leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the legal and strategic direction of a diverse, high-growth organization. As the sole legal professional in our ambitious team, you will take ownership of all legal matters across our businesses, ensuring seamless operations and driving long-term success.
In this hands-on role, you will oversee and manage commercial contracts, employment law matters, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, human resources and regulatory compliance. You'll also play a critical role in protecting the company's interests, safeguarding intellectual property, and providing practical legal guidance to support innovation and growth.Location: United States, on-site in Nashville, TN
What you'll do
Be a trusted advisor: Provide actionable legal counsel to the President, leadership team, and key stakeholders, supporting strategic business decisions.
- Shape deals and partnerships: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including sales agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and M&A deals, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Drive compliance excellence: Ensure adherence to local and national laws with a focus on data privacy and governance, to maintain compliance and mitigate risk.
- Manage risk and disputes: Lead all aspects of litigation, collaborate with external counsel, and proactively develop strategies to protect the company's interests.
- Safeguard intellectual property: Oversee and manage the company's intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
- Lead M&A activities: Guide due diligence, deal structuring, negotiation, and post-transaction integration for mergers and acquisitions.
- Collaborate across teams: Partner with HR to address employment law matters, including employee relations, policy compliance, and dispute resolution.Who you are
- An experienced legal professional with at least 7+ years of legal experience in law firms or in-house roles.
- Skilled in drafting and negotiating contracts with strong expertise in employment law, M&A, litigation, and compliance.
- Knowledgeable in global compliance, data privacy, and regulatory requirements with the ability to guide leadership through complex legal landscapes.
- A trusted advisor and effective communicator, capable of building strong relationships with executives and cross-functional teams.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is comfortable being hands-on as the sole legal resource.
- Reside in or are willing to relocate to Nashville, Tennessee, to collaborate on-site with our team.

Salary Range
We seek to hire top-tier individuals and intend for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision. Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.Annual pay range$130,000—$190,000 USD
