Managing Attorney – Creditors’ Rights & Foreclosure

Are you a highly experienced creditors’ rights attorney who would be energized to open and grow a new office with the support of a leading national firm?

Latitude is seeking a Managing Attorney with significant creditors’ rights and foreclosure experience for a permanent position with one of the nation’s largest full-service creditors’ rights and real estate law firms.

The firm is actively expanding into new markets and is seeking entrepreneurial attorneys interested in helping launch and grow the firm’s presence. This is a unique opportunity for a highly experienced creditors’ rights attorney who would be eager to open a new office with the infrastructure of a national firm and without the need for a book of business.

This role may be performed on a hybrid/remote basis in Minnesota

Requirements for the Managing Attorney:

8+ years of creditors’ rights experience
Deep knowledge of foreclosure procedures and legal requirements within the Minnesota market
Working knowledge of Minnesota and federal consumer protection statutes
Strong background in mortgage default, foreclosure litigation and bankruptcy
Proven people management and leadership skills
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and fast-paced practice
Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to build and scale a local office
Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills
Strong leadership, client relationship management, and problem-solving abilities
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Position Details of the Managing Attorney:

Type of Role: Permanent
Schedule: Full-time
Location: Minnesota (Remote/Hybrid)

Responsibilities of the Managing Attorney:

Assist in managing and growing the firm’s foreclosure and litigation operations
Handle and oversee a high-volume creditors’ rights and foreclosure caseload
Supervise paralegals and support staff while ensuring compliance with firm procedures and quality standards
Develop case strategies and monitor files through resolution
Serve as a key point of contact for institutional and national clients
Support the expansion and long-term development of the Minnesota specific practice
Collaborate with firm leadership and operational teams across multiple jurisdictions

Compensation

Pay: The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $150,000 with the opportunity to share in the success of a growing practice. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
