Tax Manager

We are a top public accounting firm seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys building client relationships, mentoring staff, and providing strategic tax planning while working in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

What You'll Do

Manage tax engagements for a diverse portfolio of individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and nonprofit organizations.
Review complex federal and state tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
Provide proactive tax planning and consulting to help clients achieve their financial goals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted long-term relationships.
Research complex tax issues and communicate recommendations clearly.
Mentor, train, and develop tax staff and seniors while reviewing their work.
Manage multiple deadlines and ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately.
Assist with tax notices, audits, and other client tax matters.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the firm's continued growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
CPA license required.
5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
Prior experience reviewing tax returns and supervising staff.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
Excellent communication, organization, and client service skills.
Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple engagements while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
