Covergent Technologies is a growing, fast-paced IT support and managed services provider. We help local businesses keep their data secure, their networks running, and their teams productive. We are looking for a high-energy, resilient, and highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to spearhead our local business outreach.

The Role: What You’ll Do

This is not a passive desk job. You will be the face and voice of our company, responsible for hunting down new B2B opportunities through a mix of digital, phone, and in-person outreach.

The Grind (Phone & Digital): Make 40–60 outbound calls per day to local business owners, executives, and office managers to introduce our IT services and identify pain points.
The Hustle (On-Site Visits): Conduct structured drop-offs and face-to-face cold visits to commercial business parks and targeted local companies to get past the gatekeeper and deliver marketing assets.
The Goal: Build trust, uncover IT frustrations, and schedule qualified consultations/network assessments for our technical team.
CRM Management: Log all activities, notes, and follow-ups meticulously in our tracking system.

What We’re Looking For

Excellent Communicator: You can build quick rapport over the phone and command an enthusiastic, professional presence in person.
Self-Starter & High Energy: You don’t need someone looking over your shoulder to keep pushing. You are driven by hitting targets and earning commissions.
Local Knowledge & Reliable Transport: Since this role requires on-site business visits, you must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle.
Experience in B2B sales, retail sales, door-to-door sales, or tech is a plus, but a relentless work ethic matters more.
