Administrative Assistant/ Accountant

Property Management company is looking for a dynamic and experienced oAdmin Assistant/Accountant with a background in property management. TheAdmin Assistant/Accountant will be responsible for; marketing, leasing, collections to generate revenue; residential and commercial relations and customer service to manage customers retention and satisfaction; administration of property maintenance, and capital improvements to maintain aesthetics and manage expenses; compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Residential and commercial leasing
knowledge of contracts
Responsible for creating and maintaining employee personnel files to include E-files
Managing filing system; e-file, paper file, and scanning
Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
Proficient with technology and ability to learn our software systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and MacOS systems.
Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
Friendly and strong commitment to customer service.
2-3 years work experience as an Administrative Assistant/Accountant.
2-5 years work experience in property management.
Good understanding of clerical operations (recruiting, onboarding, training, and compensation).
Principles and procedures of record keeping.
English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work well under pressure
Demonstrate excellent computer skills, verbal, math, and reasoning skills
Demonstrate strong negotiating and sales abilities
Possess strong leadership; interpersonal and organization skills
Knowledge of Internet, Email, and social media as it pertains to marketing of community
Knowledge of property management software, such as, rent manager or other related software.
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Overseeing expenses and budgets for certain properties.
Ability to create budgets based on expenses
Assist with daily tasks at corporate.
Filing, AP, AR, Year end close outs with monthly check of expenses and income.
Fair housing knowledge
Hours would be from 8:00 Am- 5:00pm

Position will pay from $17.00-$20.00 an hour.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
