We're seeking an energetic, hands-on Food & Beverage Manager who thrives in a fast-paced upscale hotel environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a hospitality leader who enjoys coaching teams, elevating service standards, driving financial performance, and creating memorable dining experiences across multiple food and beverage outlets.

Reports To: Director of Food & Beverage / General Manager

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As Food & Beverage Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operation of the hotel's food and beverage outlets while ensuring exceptional service, operational excellence, and profitability.

Operational Leadership

Lead daily operations including:

Restaurant
Lounge & Bar
In-Room Dining (if applicable)
Banquet & Catering Operations
Special Events
Outlet Service Standards

Ensure every shift delivers an elevated guest experience while maintaining exceptional operational efficiency.

Guest Experience

Create an unforgettable dining experience by:

Leading by example on the floor
Engaging with guests
Resolving service concerns immediately
Anticipating guest needs
Maintaining exceptional service standards
Driving guest satisfaction and online reputation

Team Leadership

Build, coach, and develop an outstanding hospitality team.

Responsibilities include:

Hiring and onboarding
Training and coaching
Scheduling
Performance management
Associate recognition
Developing future leaders
Maintaining a positive, team-oriented culture

Create an environment where associates feel supported, empowered, and motivated to deliver outstanding service.

Financial Performance

Support the financial success of the department by:

Managing labor costs
Controlling food and beverage costs
Monitoring inventory
Reducing waste
Maximizing profitability
Forecasting business needs
Assisting with budgeting and purchasing

Understand the connection between exceptional service and strong financial performance.

Food & Beverage Excellence

Partner with culinary leadership to:

Maintain high food quality standards
Develop seasonal promotions
Ensure menu accuracy and presentation
Support beverage programming
Monitor product quality
Maintain brand consistency

Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with:

Health Department regulations
Food Safety & Sanitation Standards
Alcohol service laws
OSHA regulations
Company policies and procedures

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized operation at all times.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORRequired Qualifications

2+ years of Food & Beverage management experience in a full-service hotel, upscale restaurant, or lifestyle hospitality environment
Strong leadership and coaching abilities
Experience supervising multiple shifts and large teams
Knowledge of restaurant operations, bar service, banquets, and catering
Experience with scheduling, labor management, and inventory control
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Full-service hotel Food & Beverage experience strongly preferred
Marriott brand experience preferred
Banquet and catering experience
Experience with upscale dining concepts
TIPS or ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain)
