About Us

We are a growing property management company serving the Texarkana area. We manage residential rental properties and are committed to providing exceptional service to property owners, tenants, and vendors.

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to support our accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. This position is ideal for an experienced bookkeeper, accounting professional, or property management accounting specialist seeking a flexible part-time schedule.

Position Overview

The Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for managing vendor invoices, processing payments, monitoring tenant receivables, reconciling accounts, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable with accounting software, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Primary Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

Review and process vendor invoices.
Verify invoice accuracy and supporting documentation.
Code invoices appropriately and prepare payments.
Maintain vendor records and W-9 information.
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

Accounts Receivable

Monitor rent collections and tenant account balances.
Record incoming payments.
Assist with delinquency tracking and follow-up.
Maintain accurate tenant accounting records.

Accounting Support

Perform bank reconciliations.
Assist with monthly reporting and account reviews.
Maintain organized digital accounting records.
Work within AppFolio and related accounting systems.
Support process improvements and accounting accuracy.

Qualifications

Required

Previous bookkeeping, accounting, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred

Property management accounting experience.
AppFolio experience.
QuickBooks experience.
Experience working with vendors, tenants, and owner accounting.
Accounting or bookkeeping certification.
