<Duties>

Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure high standards of quality and presentation.
Lead and manage kitchen staff by providing clear direction, training, and motivation to foster teamwork and professional growth.
Oversee inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste, optimize stock levels, and ensure timely procurement of supplies.
Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and maintain compliance with food safety regulations.
Plan menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating innovative dishes while maintaining consistency with established standards.
Manage shift schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor performance to ensure smooth kitchen flow during busy periods.
Uphold strict food safety protocols and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas to guarantee a safe dining experience for guests.
Oversee catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service delivery.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, food costs, and operational procedures for continuous improvement.
Support the development of team members through coaching on culinary techniques, customer service skills, and safety practices.

<Qualifications>

Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality kitchens with a focus on fine dining or catering environments.
Supervising experience in a fast-paced food service setting is essential; banquet experience is highly valued.
Strong background in food production, culinary techniques, and kitchen management principles.
Knowledge of inventory management systems and food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP).
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage shift operations effectively.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and other departments seamlessly.
Experience in menu planning, food handling, and catering logistics preferred.
Familiarity with dietary accommodations and special dietary requirements management.
