Summary: The Low Voltage Energy Management System (EMS) Service Project Manager is responsible for managing service operations, maintenance projects, upgrades, troubleshooting, and client support activities for low voltage energy management and building automation systems. This role oversees service delivery for installed EMS infrastructure including power monitoring, lighting controls, metering, and BAS/BMS systems while ensuring customer satisfaction, system reliability, and operational efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage EMS service projects including maintenance, repairs, retroﬁts, upgrades, and system expansions.
Coordinate service technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and client stakeholders.
Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of low voltage EMS and control system issues.
Schedule preventive maintenance and service activities for EMS infrastructure.
Manage customer service requests, work orders, and service agreements (SLAs).
Ensure compliance with electrical, safety, and cybersecurity standards.
Support commissioning, diagnostics, ﬁrmware/software updates, and system optimization.
Review system performance data and recommend energy efficiency improvements.
Prepare project schedules, cost estimates, service reports, and documentation.
Manage project budgets, invoicing, procurement, and change orders.
Conduct client meetings and provide technical/service status updates.
Support emergency response and critical system restoration activities when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP certiﬁcation or service/project management certiﬁcation.
Experience with: Cylon, Distech, Teletrol, Novar, RTU Controls.
Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, network switches, IT, or similar communication protocols.
OSHA 10/30 certiﬁcation or electrical safety training.
Experience with service contracts, warranty management, and SLA reporting.

Required Qualifications:

Energy Systems, Construction Management, or related ﬁeld.
Basic electrical and lighting knowledge. Ie troubleshooting contactors and relays.
3+ years of experience in low voltage systems, EMS/BMS service operations, or technical project management.
Knowledge of: Building automation systems, power monitoring systems, smart metering infrastructure, low voltage electrical systems, energy management technologies
Experience managing ﬁeld service teams and customer-facing projects.
Strong troubleshooting and technical coordination skills.
Ability to read electrical drawings, control diagrams, and speciﬁcations.

Working Conditions: Combination of office, customer sites, mechanical/electrical rooms, and construction environments. May require local travel and occasional after-hours support for emergency service calls.
