Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Bid Coordinator to join our team and drive the success of our construction projects from the bidding phase onward. In this vital role, you will coordinate and manage the preparation of construction bids, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance with project requirements. Your energetic approach and meticulous attention to detail will help us secure new projects and maintain our reputation for excellence in the construction industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver compelling proposals that win bids and set the stage for successful project execution.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with estimators to gather all necessary bid documentation and specifications.
Analyze project plans, specifications, and addendums.
Coordinate with general contractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and ensure scope clarity.
Manage bid schedules to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards for all proposal components.
Utilize construction management software and civil engineering project management tools to track bid progress and document revisions.
Assist in reviewing contracts, scope of work, and project schedules to align bids with client expectations and project constraints.

Requirements

Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work well under tight deadline pressure
Strong attention to detail
Ability to be assertive when needed with a pleasant and professional demeanor
Exceptional organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding follow up and follow through initiative
Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
Three to five years’ prior experience working in bid management
Experience processing moderate to high volume of bids
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
