Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Superintendent / General Foreman to lead and oversee electrical construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring that all electrical work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, codes, and standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, project management software, and safety protocols. Join our dynamic team and play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical infrastructure projects that meet client expectations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise electrical construction crews on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop detailed work plans, schedules, and resource allocations using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or ProCore.
Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of electrical systems.
Manage procurement of materials and equipment, including heavyBid estimates and contracts management to optimize project costs.
Conduct quality control inspections to verify adherence to safety standards (OSHA), building codes, and project specifications.
Oversee the installation of electrical systems including conduit runs, wiring, panels, transformers, and control systems using tools like the ohmmeter for testing continuity and insulation resistance.
Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, change orders, safety records, and daily reports.
Supervise subcontractors and vendors while fostering a collaborative team environment focused on safety and excellence in execution.

Skills

Extensive construction site experience with a strong background in electrical systems installation and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Bluebeam Revu for document management, and other relevant tools.
Deep knowledge of electrical schematics, blueprints reading, and construction estimating techniques.
Strong understanding of contracts management, project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control measures.
Hands-on experience with quality control procedures and safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards.
Supervising experience leading teams on large-scale construction projects with a focus on safety compliance and efficiency.
Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical testing procedures.
Excellent management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
