Overview:
SoftWorthy develops interactive education and training simulators using serious-gaming technologies.
We are seeking a Game Programmer, for developing an immersive and interactive EdTech simulator.
The individual should have software application development experience, and knowledge of game hosting.
Responsibilities:
- Write optimized, scalable and well-documented code to implement the virtual environments.
- Test, evaluate and debug code, and document workflows for the simulated reality experiences.
- Communicate updates, participate in project discussions, and share technical solutions with the team.
- Research new tools and stay informed of latest developments in the visualization and gaming industry.
Qualifications:
- Professional experience in gaming/visualization industry with at least 1 year of software development experience.
- Proven ability to create immersive environments, program game mechanics, integrate assets, and use rendering & physics systems.
- Proficiency in C++ & OpenGL, with the ability to write clean, maintainable and extensible code with attention to reusability.
- Knowledge of memory optimization techniques, GUI libraries, version control tools, server hosting, and WebSocket API.
