Full Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of payroll processing and administration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using ADP Workforce Now (or other ADP payroll platforms) and a strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, confidentiality, and the ability to manage payroll accurately and efficiently for a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and process bi-weekly payroll using ADP.
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees.
Maintain payroll records and employee data within ADP.
Administer payroll-related functions, including garnishments, deductions, benefits, and tax withholdings.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Prepare payroll reports for management, finance, and audits.
Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve payroll discrepancies.
Coordinate with Human Resources regarding new hires, terminations, promotions, and employee changes.
Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Assist with year-end processing, including W-2 preparation and payroll audits.
Recommend and implement payroll process improvements.

Qualifications

5+ years of payroll management experience.
Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now or other ADP payroll systems is a plus
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
