Full Job Description

Important: If you do not have direct experience in the industrial construction space, please do not apply. This role requires a past with knowledge relating to industrial equipment, consumables, or services such as abrasive blasting, industrial coatings, industrial cleaning, or industrial parts.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Support Specialist to support one of our top-producing outside sales representatives across blast and paint, industrial cleaning, and industrial parts sales. This role is responsible for quoting, sourcing, pricing analysis, order processing, and invoicing, and for making sure nothing in the rep's book goes unanswered or unmanaged.

This is not a passive order entry role. We are looking for someone who likes challenges, enjoys solving problems, and takes ownership of outcomes. The right person will work directly with the outside rep and with leadership to keep a fast-moving book of business running clean and profitable.

Key Responsibilities:

Quoting and Sourcing

Build and issue quotes for equipment, rental, parts, and consumables, and drive them through to close working with our sales rep.
Source hard-to-find parts, cross-reference other part numbers, and identify substitutes when the first option is unavailable.
Research customer applications and recommend the right equipment or consumable for the job.
Manage vendor communication on availability, lead times, freight, and expediting.

Pricing and Margin Discipline

Run pricing analysis on quotes and orders to protect gross margin, not just win the order.
Maintain customer pricing agreements, contract pricing, and account history in the system.
Flag pricing exceptions and margin erosion to the rep and to leadership before the order ships.
Understand cost structure well enough to know when a price is right and when it is not.

Order and Invoice Execution

Process consumable orders, rentals, and invoices in NetSuite with accuracy and speed
Track open quotes, backorders, rental starts and returns, and off-rent dates so nothing goes quiet
Resolve billing questions and documentation issues before they become collection problems
Maintain clean, complete records on every transaction

Qualifications

Direct experience in the industrial space (required). Abrasive blasting, industrial coatings, industrial cleaning, hydroblasting, vacuum services, surface prep, industrial MRO, or a closely related field
Credibility with a blaster, a painter, a cleaning crew supervisor, and a purchasing agent alike
Strong comfort with numbers and the ability to look at a quote and know whether the margin is real
Highly organized with strong follow-up and documentation habits under high quote volume
Experience working with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar preferred)
Working knowledge of Excel and the ability to learn new systems quickly
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
