About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Industrial Structural Fitter to join our team for high-profile industrial and construction projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with a strong background in fitting and fabricating steel structures such as platforms, supports, pipe racks, and heavy industrial components.

Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and isometric plans for layout and fabrication.
- Measure, cut, align, and fit structural steel and plate components to specification.
- Fit-up assemblies in preparation for welding, maintaining exact tolerances and alignment.
- Use tools such as levels, squares, tape measures, torches, grinders, and impact wrenches.
- Mark reference points and cutting lines on workpieces using measuring instruments.
- Collaborate closely with welders, riggers, and supervisors to ensure efficient project flow.
- Install and assemble steel frames, supports, beams, and platforms in industrial environments.
- Perform layout work from blueprints, templates, or sketches to construct complex assemblies.
- Follow all site safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Work in confined spaces, elevated areas, or various weather conditions as required.
Requirements
? Minimum 3–5 years of industrial or structural fitting experience.
? Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, layout, and fabrication principles.
? Ability to work from detailed drawings and precise measurements.
? Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
? Must have dependable transportation and be willing to travel if needed.
? Must provide basic hand tools and PPE.
Preferred Qualifications
? Experience in steel mills, power plants, shipyards, or heavy industrial construction.
? Familiarity with welding symbols, rigging, and fit-up for welders.
? OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus.
? Ability to train and mentor helpers or apprentices when needed.
