Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to lead our culinary team with passion and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety, and service. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver memorable dining experiences while maintaining efficient workflows and cost controls. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the entire kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on excellence in food preparation and service
Develop, plan, and update menus that reflect current trends, customer preferences, and dietary requirements while maintaining profitability
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met at all times
Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices
Enforce strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures, health regulations, and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment
Coordinate catering events and banquet services by overseeing setup, execution, and breakdown to deliver flawless experiences
Monitor shift operations, manage labor costs, and implement cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency
Conduct regular training sessions on food handling, cooking techniques, and safety protocols to enhance team skills and compliance

Requirements

Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in food production and restaurant management
Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams within a high-volume setting
Extensive knowledge of dietary department standards, catering services, and banquet experience is highly desirable
Strong skills in inventory management, cost control, menu planning, and kitchen management systems
Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures, food handling regulations, and HACCP principles
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and service
Excellent leadership qualities with a passion for mentoring staff and fostering teamwork in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Previous experience in managing food service operations within the food industry or restaurant sector is essential
