Ascension is hosting a Respiratory Therapy Virtual Hiring Event! We have travel/full/part-time/PRN shifts to choose from. RSVP today!

We will be interviewing:

Registered Respiratory Therapists, Respiratory Care Practitioners, Certified Respiratory Therapists (Oshkosh), Respiratory Therapist Leaders

(And it's virtual, so feel free to join in scrubs on your lunch break!)

Locations: Brookfield, Milwaukee, Racine, Glendale, Mequon, Oshkosh, Appleton
Facilities: Ascension Wisconsin locations
Shifts:: Weekends, nights, float, travel, rotating, part-time
Department/Specialty: Respiratory Therapy

How you’ll make an impact in this role

Evaluate respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcome.
Educate the patient and family about the health condition and provides information about community support groups and other available programs.
Respond to emergency resuscitation team code.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
