Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly at the cashier station, process orders accurately, and handle transactions efficiently using POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas by bussing tables promptly and thoroughly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons
- Assist with food handling and serving duties as needed, supporting kitchen staff with basic food service tasks
- Follow proper sanitation and food safety procedures during all interactions with food, beverages, and dining surfaces
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting when clearing tables or setting up dining spaces in accordance with safe lifting practices
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate table turnovers, cleaning schedules, and customer requests
- Ensure all areas meet sanitation standards by cleaning utensils, trays, and service stations regularly
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and food safety regulations
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting and table setting
- Excellent internal communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members
- Previous catering or hospitality experience is advantageous
- Effective cleaning and bussing skills to maintain a tidy dining environment
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks confidently
