Production Associate Extrusion Line Operator, Thomasville, NC

Starting Pay: $18.50

Available Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday - Friday

As a Production Associate, Extrusion Line Operator, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Primary Responsibilities

Stack material from line onto pallet
Maintaining production equipment elements like start-up, operation, changeover, shutdown and preventative maintenance.
Equipment may include but is not limited to extrusion line equipment, tools and/or dies.
Perform visual quality checks of materials and purge imperfections while stacking
Obtain can samples (can/sheet) and present to Quality Control lab for testing
Assist with start-ups and shutdowns on the extrusion line
Assist wherever is needed and perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Positive attitude
Ability to work with limited supervision
Willingness to contribute to a continuous improvement environment
Experience in a plant/manufacturing environment, preferred
Must be able to read, write, and speak English for training/safety purposes
Ability to work an 8-hour shift and overtime as needed
Must be willing to take on new assignments/job tasks as needed
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
