Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our office team. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of the day-to-day financial operations of the dealership.

Duties

This position is an integral part of the day-to-day financial operations of the organization
The Accounting Clerk will assist with AR, AP, and GL functions
Reconcile vendor statements
Investigate and resolve discrepancies
Clean and maintain accounting schedules
Establish and maintain vendor and customer accounts
AR Collections
Submit Extended Warranty Purchases and complete Warranty Cancellations
Post Accounting information for vehicle purchases
Posting customer payments
Provide excellent customer service
File paperwork
Serve as back-up to other accounting team members

Qualifications

Solid understanding of accounting principles
Previous experience in automotive accounting is required Reynolds and Reynolds IGNITE a plus.
Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with various stakeholders.
