Full Job Description

Are you organized, dependable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a Mailroom Clerk to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in keeping daily operations running smoothly while providing excellent internal customer service.

Responsibilities

Sort, distribute, and deliver incoming mail to departments and employees.
Process interoffice mail, notices, and memoranda.
Pick up outgoing departmental mail and prepare it for shipment.
Operate mailroom equipment, including postage meters, copiers, and mail folding/inserting machines.
Weigh, process, and prepare outgoing mail.
Maintain accurate mailing and delivery records.
Replenish postage and keep mailroom supplies fully stocked.
Manage the mailroom email inbox and respond to requests promptly.
Clean and maintain conference rooms, break rooms, and collaboration spaces.
Assist with event setup and breakdown.
Conduct building walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs and report areas requiring attention.
Drive the mailroom vehicle to the post office and nearby campuses when needed (not currently required).
Perform other administrative and facility support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Previous mailroom experience required.
Experience operating mail sorting and postage equipment.
Basic computer skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to lift, carry, and move mail and packages throughout the day.
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
