Job Description
Coffman Engineers is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and quality-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry Level Electrical Engineer for our LA - Woodland Hills office. The ideal candidate should have a desire to work and grow as a team player within a multi-discipline engineering firm.
Compensation and Benefits

Approximate Base Salary – $75,000 - $90,000+ based on experience

Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate

Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance

Hybrid Work Schedule (subject to change)

401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee Contribution

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
-
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field (with emphasis in power engineering preferred)
-
Strong passion for or previous experience in the AEC (architectural, engineering and construction) industry
-
Ability to research applicable codes in National Electrical Code, California Building Code, etc
-
Report daily project status updates to senior engineer or project manager
-
Ability to work independently with proper engineering oversight
-
Ability to work and collaborate in larger project teams
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
-
Registration as an E.I.T.
-
Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
-
Power, lighting, communications design, and layouts utilizing Revit and/or AutoCAD knowledge
-
Awareness of, or experience with, load calculations, branch circuiting, voltage drop, short circuit calculations and photometric calculations

Exposure to power system analysis software such as SKM, etap, etc.
