Full Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and hardworking Apprentice/Skilled Laborer to join our residential construction team. This position provides hands-on support to the Superintendent by maintaining organized job sites, managing materials, performing light carpentry, and helping keep multiple home builds on schedule.

The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in a clean and organized job site, is willing to jump in wherever needed, and has experience with residential construction. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to learn and grow within our company.

Responsibilities

Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites throughout every phase of construction.
Manage onsite materials by organizing, staging, and protecting products from damage and weather.
Perform material runs and pick up supplies from local vendors.
Receive, inspect, and organize material deliveries.
Install temporary protection to prevent damage during construction.
Perform light carpentry, framing, trim work, punch work, and general construction tasks as needed.
Help prepare homes for inspections and final walkthroughs.
Operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and job site equipment safely.
Assist subcontractors and the Superintendent with daily jobsite needs.
Keep accurate records of deliveries, jobsite progress, and completed tasks.
Represent the company professionally while interacting with subcontractors, vendors, and homeowners.

Qualifications

0–2 years of residential construction experience (entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply).
Experience with carpentry, framing, finish work, or general residential construction is a plus.
Ability to safely operate common construction tools and equipment.
Ability to safely tow and back a utility or equipment trailer.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
