Full Job Description

Job Title: Service Representative (CDL A Driver)
Reports To: Service Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Classification: Full-Time

Job Summary: The Service Representative (CDL A Driver) is responsible for filling in on routes during vacancies while accurately and safely delivering products to customer accounts with a sense of urgency and faster-than-average work pace.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Service Assistant (when applicable)

Duties/Responsibilities:

Responsible for accurate inventory and daily check-up procedures.
Responsible for completing deliveries in courteous, professional, and timely manner; and ensuring accuracy of billing to customers.
Maintain clean and serviceable vehicle, complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Follow all retail procedures regarding deliveries.
Responsible to communicate in an effective and timely manner with Service Manager regarding route adjustments, emergencies, extended hours, or additional assignments.
When needed, communicate with the Sales Representative to service store accounts within workload requirements.
Fuel delivery vehicles and trucks to maintain adequate fluid levels.
Adherence to all safety policies in compliance with applicable laws.
Responsible for working with others, building, and maintaining relationships.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to work a schedule that includes early mornings.
Exceptional customer service and satisfaction is a priority.
Ability to accurately complete all required paperwork, accounting, and documentation. Ability to solve practical problems.
Ability to work in a friendly manner as part of a team and to develop effective working relationships with colleagues, customers, and their staff.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and all applicable laws.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Ability to perform simple math problems.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Punctual and dependable.
Represents SCP’s commitment to excellence through PARTNERS values.

Education/Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid CDL-A License
