Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations focused on foot and ankle health.
- Diagnose various foot, ankle, and lower limb conditions utilizing clinical evaluation and advanced diagnostic tools such as medical imaging.
- Develop personalized treatment plans encompassing conservative therapies, surgical interventions, and post-operative care.
- Perform minor procedures such as suturing, wound care, and ingrown toenail removal in accordance with aseptic techniques.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers—including orthopedists, radiologists, endocrinologists, and primary care physicians—to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Educate patients on foot health maintenance, injury prevention, and proper footwear choices to promote long-term wellness.
- Maintain accurate medical records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or EMR systems to ensure seamless documentation and compliance.
Requirements
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice as a podiatrist.
- Post-residency experience demonstrating proficiency in clinical diagnosis and treatment of foot and lower limb disorders.
- Familiarity with diagnostic radiology techniques, medical imaging modalities, and EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology relevant to podiatric medicine.
- Ability to perform surgical procedures including minor surgeries and wound suturing with aseptic technique.
- Excellent patient service skills combined with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Experience in inpatient or outpatient settings is preferred; familiarity with hospital or clinic environments enhances your fit for this role.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications in wound care or diabetic foot management are advantageous.

Pay: $195,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
