A loving Christian family is searching for an experienced Family Assistant to become a long-term, trusted extension of their home.
Located between Brentwood and Nolensville, the family is seeking a mature, calm, and proactive Family Assistant who genuinely enjoys supporting children and helping a busy household run seamlessly. With four school-aged children (ages 10, 8, 6, and 6), Mom is a stay-at-home parent who is incredibly involved, while Dad frequently works from home and travels periodically for business. Together, they have created a peaceful home environment and are looking for someone who naturally complements that atmosphere.
This is not a role for someone who needs constant direction. Mom hopes to find someone who can "read the room," anticipate needs, and confidently step in when needed. The family is looking for a true care taker who values consistency, enjoys children, and is committed to staying with one family for years to come. They are intentionally seeking someone who desires a long-term home—not a stepping stone.
Schedule
Ideal Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:15 AM - 8:00 AM + 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Note: the split schedule is ideal, but the afternoon and evening hours are the family's greatest priority. They are open to an afternoon-only schedule for the right candidate. Otherwise, the shift would be Monday - Friday: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PMOccasional date nights are also appreciated!
Responsibilities
School pick-ups (potentially drop-offs)
Driving children to activities
Preparing healthy after-school snacks
Homework support and encouraging productive after-school routines
Meal preparation
Grocery shopping or coordinating household supplies
Kitchen clean-up after dinner
Laundry assistance
Keeping children's bedrooms, play areas, and common spaces tidy and organized
Household errands
Maintaining overall household tidiness between professional cleanings. Note: The family employs a professional housekeeper for weekly deep cleaning, so this role focuses on keeping the home running beautifully between cleanings.
The Ideal Candidate
Has previous Family Assistant or nanny experience
Truly loves children and enjoys building lasting relationships
Is patient, emotionally mature, calm, and joyful
Is organized, dependable, and proactive
Values a peaceful, low-drama home environment
Is comfortable supporting a stay-at-home mom as a collaborative teammate
Has a clean driving record and reliable vehicle
Appreciates minimal screen time and values education, routines, and engaged childcare
Additional Details
This is a live-out position
Travel Required: None
Overnights: Rare (parents travel together approximately twice per year for weekend overnights)
Employment: W-2
Holidays and PTO/Sick days are offered
Home: Approximately 7,400 square feet (5 bedrooms, 5 full bathrooms, 2 half bathrooms)
Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
