Full Job Description

We are currently looking for a dependable, friendly, and organized Front Desk Receptionist / Medical Office Assistant to join our busy clinic in Toledo, Ohio. This position plays an important role in helping our office run smoothly while providing excellent customer service to our patients.

This is a fast-paced medical office environment, so we are looking for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently.

Hours

Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Closed daily from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM for lunch

Job Responsibilities

Answering and returning phone calls
Responding to emails and voicemails throughout the day
Scheduling patients and managing appointment calendars
Checking patients in and out for treatment visits
Going over paperwork and expectations with new patients
Performing daily patient recalls and follow-ups
Tracking and managing referrals
Scanning paperwork and maintaining electronic health records
Insurance verification
Filing patient charts and maintaining office organization
Logging and tracking daily office statistics
Assisting with general office duties as needed

Qualifications

Excellent customer service and communication skills
Friendly and compassionate attitude toward patients
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer and office software knowledge required
Previous medical office experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
