About the Role:

The Quality Control Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that all manufactured products meet or exceed established quality standards and customer expectations. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire quality control process, from initial document control and process monitoring to final inspection and materials testing. The manager will lead a team dedicated to maintaining and improving quality systems, ensuring compliance with product specifications and regulatory requirements. By implementing robust quality assurance practices, the role aims to minimize defects, reduce waste, and enhance overall production efficiency. Ultimately, the Quality Control Manager ensures that the manufacturing operations consistently deliver high-quality products that uphold the company’s reputation and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
Proven knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001 or equivalent standards.
Strong understanding of product specifications, materials testing methods, and process control techniques.
Experience with document control and quality documentation management.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing setting within the United States.
Familiarity with advanced quality tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
Proficiency with quality management software and data analysis tools.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the quality control team, including process control, final product inspection, and materials testing.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
Conduct regular audits and reviews of quality systems to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous compliance.
Analyze quality data and generate reports to inform management decisions and support strategic quality initiatives.
