- Preschool (ages 3 - kindergarten {potty trained classroom})

- Be able to work part time (25 - 30 hours per week Monday - Friday) and be flexible with scheduling 7:30 am - 1pm

Requirements include but are not limited to:
- High School Diploma
- Active CDA (Child Development Associate) or AA/BA degree
- Ability to pass a BCI/FBI background check
- Physically fit for early education
- must pass a physical
- able to bend & stoop
- lift 50 pounds
- able to be down at children’s level
- 10-15 hrs. of continuing education annually
- Willingness to attend monthly meetings
- Already have or must obtain CPR/AED/ First Aid training within 30 days of hire

- Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
- Has previous experience in Early Childhood Education or related field of work.
- Has completed a college degree or credits in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field.

Teacher Responsibilities:
- Using Online Teaching Strategies Gold program quarterly
- Using Brightwheel software to update parents frequently throughout the day.
- Using any programing or software the center adopts
- ANY documentation required of SUTQ current or future
- Lesson Planning with Early Learning Developmental Standards (ELDS)
- Forming Family Partnerships
- Communication and Service Coordination
- Preparing for biannual conferences with parents from the results of TSG, classroom monitoring and ASQs.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: documenting the daily care of each child in your classroom
- Ongoing Monitoring and Self-Assessment
- Supervision of students: maintain a safe learning environment free from hazards at all times
- Send quarterly updates of OCCRRA accounts (reports- CAREER PATHWAYS PROFILE SUMMARY, PROFILE TRAINING SUMMARY, CDA REGISTRY TRANSCRIPT and any Credentials you have) or provide OCCRRA login and password so that Director can check status quarterly.

Successful Lead Teacher Candidates Will Have:

Job Type: Part Time (average 20-30 hours week)
Salary: $14.00 to $20.00 /hour (Salary based off of education and experience)
