Brightz is a small, family-owned business with a large national presence, specializing in designing and selling innovative LED lighting products to major retailers nationwide. Our vibrant and collaborative workplace offers significant growth opportunities, especially for team members eager to deepen their expertise in the rapidly evolving world of e-commerce.

The Amazon Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operation and performance of our Amazon business. This is a hands-on role centered on Seller Central, with a strong focus on listing quality, PPC advertising, inventory health, and the daily execution that keeps a marketplace account performing. You will own the account itself rather than direct others who work in it.

The Role

This role is centered in Amazon Seller Central, and the work follows a consistent weekly rhythm.

Mondays begin with a review of what changed over the weekend: a suppressed listing, a competitor's price drop, an item that ran out of stock ahead of forecast. Through the week you correct catalog issues, review search term reports and trim keywords that are not earning their spend, prepare upcoming promotions, and close out Friday with a clear picture of where the numbers landed. Thefollowing week you do it again, and look for what can be done better.

This is detailed, recurring work, and it suits a particular kind of person. If you need frequent variety and new projects to stay engaged, this role will likely frustrate you. If you take real satisfaction in a clean, well-run account and in watching consistent effort produce measurable gains, you will do well here.

The Work

Create and fix listings: titles, bullets, backend keywords, images, A+ content, variations
Run PPC hands-on: build campaigns, pull search term reports, add negatives, adjust bids, watch ACoS
Watch inventory, flag what is running low, and keep us from stocking out on our best sellers
Check account health daily and chase down suppressed ASINs, policy flags, and hijackers
Open cases with Seller Support and actually push them to resolution
Set up coupons, Lightning Deals, and Prime Day promotions
Keep a clean weekly report in Excel so we always know where we stand
Watch what competitors are doing and tell us

Who We Are Looking For

Hands-on Amazon Seller Central experience matters to us, but we are willing to train the right person.

We would rather hire someone with strong instincts and teach them the platform than hire someone with years of experience who has lost interest by the third month.

The things we cannot teach:

Attention to detail. You notice the price entered as $9.99 instead of $19.99, and the bullet point that lists the wrong color.
Comfort with numbers. You work in Excel without dreading it, and pivot tables and lookup functions are familiar territory.
Self-direction. You work through what needs doing without being asked twice, and you speak up when something looks wrong.
Consistency. The work has a rhythm and rewards steady attention. Someone who needs a new project every month to stay engaged will not be happy in this role.

Nice to Have

Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar tools
FBA shipment creation and reconciliation
Brand Registry, Vine, or a track record of winning Seller Support cases
Basic photo editing

Where You Would Work

Hybrid, four days a week on-site. We are just over the Ohio line, about 25 minutes from Toledo. Relocating to within commutable distance is a non-negotiable requirement if you are not already in the area.

Full work authorization is required; we are not able to sponsor.
