Full Job Description

Mueller Reports is looking for a Premium Auditor to join our growing Premium Audit team.

We are looking for someone with experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, insurance, finance, or a similar business role. Prior premium audit experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

Premium Auditors review business records to verify the information used to calculate insurance premiums. The role involves working with financial information, communicating with businesses, and making sure the information provided is complete and accurate.

Reviewing payroll, sales, and other business records
Identifying missing information or discrepancies
Communicating with businesses to gather or clarify information
Documenting audit results clearly and accurately
Managing an assigned workload and completing audits on time

Qualifications

This role is a good fit for someone who is comfortable working with numbers, pays attention to detail, and is naturally inquisitive. Relevant skills include:

Experience working with financial, payroll, insurance, or other business records
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Comfort working in Microsoft Excel
Clear written and verbal communication
Good organization and time management
Ability to learn new processes and apply them consistently
Ability to work independently and ask questions when needed

Career Path

We will provide training on premium audit, insurance concepts, our processes, and the systems used to complete audits.

This is intended to be an entry point into premium audit for someone with relevant business experience, with opportunities to grow into more complex audit work as you gain experience and technical knowledge.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
