What You'll Be Working On

Our technicians work on a wide variety of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, providing challenging and rewarding work every day.

Rooftop Units (RTUs)
Make-Up Air Units
Heat Pumps
Condensers
Split Systems
Building Controls
Boiler Systems
Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Systems
Variable Air Volume (VAV) Systems
Cooling Towers
CRAC Units
Chiller Systems

What You'll Do

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
Identify electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues
Communicate professionally with customers and facility personnel
Complete service documentation accurately and on time
Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
Deliver exceptional customer service during every interaction
Mentor apprentices and junior technicians as needed
Represent DWC Mechanical with professionalism and integrity

What We're Looking For

Required

3+ years of HVAC service experience
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and controls
Ability to work independently and manage service calls effectively
Strong customer service and communication skills
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Preferred

Commercial HVAC experience
EPA Certification
HVAC trade school or technical training
Experience with building automation systems and advanced controls
Boiler, chiller, VRF, or controls experience
