About Us:

Steadman's Recreation is a family-run dealership in Tooele, Utah. With nearly 60 years of dealership experience, we've been helping customers get out and experience what the powersports world has to offer! We pride ourselves with honest and no pressure sales, and want to offer products and units that fit the need of our customers!

We are looking to add a Finance and Insurance Manager at our dealership who is motivated, ready to learn and lead. If you're wanting to be part of a family oriented dealership, this is the right place.

Job Overview:

We need a Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager to lead our dealership’s finance and insurance operations. In this pivotal role, you will drive customer satisfaction by providing transparent, comprehensive financial solutions while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Your expertise will help customers navigate financing options, insurance products, and extended warranties, creating a seamless and positive buying experience. We need someone who thrives on continuous improvement and has exceptional customer service ability. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at building customer relationships, and have a passion for powersports sales and finance, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact. Pay range is $40,000 - $50,000/year (depending on experience) + commission.

Responsibilities:

Present, tailor and sell finance, insurance, extended service contracts, GAP protection, prepaid maintenance, and other value-added products to customers purchasing new and pre-owned powersports units
Develop strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and presenting tailored financial solutions that enhance their vehicle purchase experience
Manage all aspects of loan processing, credit analysis, and contract preparation in compliance with TILA (Truth in Lending Act) regulations
Collaborate closely with sales staff to facilitate smooth deal closures and ensure all paperwork is accurate and complete
Conduct thorough negotiations with lenders to secure favorable financing terms for customers while maintaining profitability for the dealership
Oversee title processing, document review, and ensure all legal requirements are met during the transaction process
Utilize financial software and perform basic math calculations accurately to analyze credit reports, calculate payments, and prepare deal structures
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dealership products, credit policies, and industry best practices to maximize sales opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Graduate or (GED)
Must be at least 18 years of age
Follow regulations and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

Must aqcuire and maintain current state insurance licenses
1+ years of Powersports Industry Experience
Proven success as a F&I Manager
Demonstrated ability in upselling, negotiation, and closing deals effectively to meet sales goals.
Familiarity with dealership operations including title processing, contract writing, and loan processing procedures.
Knowledge of TILA regulations, credit analysis techniques, and legal contracts related to powersports financing.
Proficiency in financial software applications and basic math skills including 10-key typing for data entry accuracy.
Experience working with powersports sales teams to coordinate financing options seamlessly.
Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and transparently.
