A well-established, locally owned lawn and landscape company is seeking an experienced Lawn Care Manager to lead our Lawn Care division. This is a year-round leadership opportunity with an established, growing company that has built its reputation on quality workmanship, exceptional customer service, and investing in its employees.

What You'll Do
As Lawn Care Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of our Lawn Care division while ensuring quality service, regulatory compliance, and a positive team culture.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and develop Lawn Care Technicians.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new team members.
- Ensure the safe, effective, and compliant application of fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.
- Diagnose and resolve turf, weed, insect, and disease issues.
- Communicate with customers to answer questions, provide recommendations, and resolve concerns.
- Manage daily production schedules to maximize quality and efficiency.
- Oversee inventory and ensure equipment is properly maintained and operating safely.
- Manage departmental production, expenses, and budgets to achieve financial goals.
- Partner with company leadership to improve processes, increase efficiency, and support the continued growth of the Lawn Care division.
- Help establish departmental goals while identifying opportunities to improve service quality, productivity, and profitability.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
Qualifications include:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 3 years of professional lawn care experience.
- At least 2 years of management or supervisory experience.
- Kansas Certified Commercial Applicator License, or the ability to obtain one after hire.
- Extensive knowledge of turfgrass, weeds, insects, diseases, and industry best practices.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to lead by example.
