Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to support construction procurement, inventory tracking, and project administration activities. This role is responsible for coordinating material purchases, maintaining accurate records, monitoring deliveries, and providing administrative support for ongoing construction projects.
The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, communicating with vendors and customers, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring materials and documentation are accurately tracked throughout the project lifecycle.

Enter customer orders, material purchases, and inventory information into procurement systems with a high level of accuracy.

Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking quantities, product types, and material usage.

Communicate with vendors regarding lead times, delivery schedules, and order status updates.

Monitor supplier performance and verify delivery information.

Review billing documents against delivery tickets and resolve discrepancies as needed.

Coordinate material deliveries and communicate delivery timelines to customers.

Support project teams by monitoring inventory levels and material requirements for ongoing construction projects.

Assist with construction administration functions, including report preparation and estimate support.

Ensure all customer sales orders are entered accurately and completely.

Create and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and documentation using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to support project success and timely material delivery.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction coordination, purchasing, procurement, or a related field.

At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Experience with data entry, order processing, and inventory tracking.

Experience supporting projects within a construction, building materials, or related environment.

Understanding of construction administration processes and project coordination activities.

Strong computer skills and ability to learn procurement and inventory systems.

Experience supporting shipping, receiving, or material tracking activities.

Experience working in a lumber yard, construction supply, building materials, or manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with procurement and inventory management systems.

Experience preparing reports, estimates, and project documentation.
