Full Job Description

Description

Perform structural steel connection analysis and design for a variety of projects
Prepare calculation reports for project submittals
Design structural steel stairs and other miscellaneous delegated engineering items for projects
Model designed connections in Tekla Structures software
Collaborate with a team under the guidance of a Licensed Professional Engineer

Requirements

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering
Passed FE Exam
Communication Skills
Attention to detail in calculations and drawings
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred:

Knowledge of structural steel and miscellaneous metals
Knowledge of current building codes and regulations
Experience in Fabrication and Construction Industry
Experience with RISA, Tekla Structures, Revit, and Bluebeam
