Who We’re Seeking to Join Our Team:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically capable Intermediate Financial Accountant to join our global finance team, supporting our Australia and broader APAC entities. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role focuses on accurate financial reporting, balance sheet integrity, and compliance support across multiple entities and jurisdictions. The ideal candidate has a solid accounting foundation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within established processes while continuing to develop their technical and professional skills.
What Success Looks Like in this Role:
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Prepare and post routine month-end journal entries, including accruals, payroll-related journals, fixed assets, and other standard adjustments.
Assist with year-end audit preparation, including supporting schedules, reconciliations, and responses to auditor requests.
Multi-Entity Accounting
Operational Finance Support
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including system enhancements, process refinement, and documentation.
Actively leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity) to automate and improve month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting workflows — bringing a continuous improvement mindset and enthusiasm for reshaping how finance work gets done.

Location: This role is remote. Location preferred in Toronto, Canada or Sydney, Australia.
Expected Salary Range: A$70,000.00 ($66,808.00 CAD) to A$85,000.00 ($81,124.00 CAD)
