Full Job Description

Pulp Studio is a world-class glass fabrication business with specialty equipment and craftspeople operating out of a 160,000sf manufacturing space in Gardena, CA.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized individual to join our team as an Order Entry Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for processing incoming orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data entry. As an Order Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and with the correct specifications.

Responsibilities

Accurately input customer orders into our ordering system, ensuring all information is correct and up to date.
Respond to inquiries from customers regarding their orders and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.
Process orders in a timely and efficient manner to meet customer delivery expectations.
Collaborate with various departments including sales, production, and shipping to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
Communicate relevant information to all team members, such as change in scheduled dates, changes in project requirements, and delivery dates.
Maintain accurate data entry records and ensure the order processing system is updated in real-time.
Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to ensure maximum efficiency in the order entry process.

Proficient with estimating software and related applications
MS Office to include MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven work experience as an Order Entry Specialist or similar role
Customer service
Sense of urgency to meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
